Lewis County Farm Bureau Scholarships
Every year Lewis County Farm Bureau offers two (2) scholarships of $1,000.00 each to deserving students from Lewis County, WA to assist with their costs of education beyond high school.
Who can apply:
Any Lewis County, WA high school senior, GED graduate or college student, may apply for these scholarships. Extra consideration will be given to students of Farm Bureau families and/or those who have been actively involved in agricultural activities. A career in agriculture is not required.
How to apply:
The scholarship committee requests the following application be filled out and sent with a letter of interest.
The letter of interest should be about yourself and how you feel qualified as an applicant.
The letter should be in business format and sent by regular U.S. Postal mail, not email. Your letter is to be no more than 2 (two) pages.
Letters must be postmarked by April 16 of the application year to allow time for our scholarship comittee to make our decision and notifications.
DO NOT include letters of recommendation, resumes or transcripts with your application.

WFB Ray DeVries Memorial Scholarship
Each year the Washington Farm Bureau offers up to five (5) $2,000 scholarships as part of the Ray DeVries Memorial Scholarship program.
These scholarships are awarded to undergraduate students currently enrolled in agriculture or a related field at an accredited college or university. Applicants must have completed at least one year of secondary education. A person may receive the scholarship only once, and must meet the following requirements.
Applicant must be:
1. A member, or the son, daughter, or legal dependent of a Farm Bureau member family with a current membership
2. Attending an accredited college/university
3. Enrolled in a field of agriculture, e.g. food science, horticulture, ag technical course, animal science, etc. or in a course as it relates to agriculture.
Applications from Lewis county resident students need to be mailed or hand delivered by June 30 to Maureen Harkcom, LCFB Scholarship chair, for review and submission to the Washington Farm Bureau.
